(With No Money to Start!)

and my son Storm when I first started my business ...
what a difference 2 years can make!
I started my business when I was 27, a single mom,
and flat broke! I started researching to find a business
that I could start easily and required no start up money
(I didn't have any), and allowed me to work flexible
hours ( I couldn't afford day care). The only business
that seemed to meet these requirements was a cleaning
business.
I made up my mind to give it a try. I made up some
crude flyers, put my infant son in a stroller, and delivered
flyers to people's doors. I delivered to about 200 homes
in about 6 hours. I went home tired but excited, crossed
my fingers, and prayed for the phone to ring!
By the end of the week I had received 5 calls and I
landed 2 accounts. Those 2 accounts alone could almost
pay for my entire rent!
Encouraged, I went to work. I started off cleaning
just homes, than incorporated commercial work into my
business. The money I started to make was unbelievable!
By the end of my second year my company had made six
figures! I bought a new home, and not one, but two cars!
My days of counting change to buy a gallon of milk were
over!
I owe my success to hard work, persistence, and of
course my cleaning business! I never in my wildest dreams
would of thought this kind of success was possible for
myself!
If I can do it, anyone can!
